Punk-ass Kids Need Stereos

I have been alive for over twenty-two years and have never had a job. I'm not exaggerating or pretending like certain jobs didn't matter, either. I truly have never had a job of any kind. I'm sure that most of you know how difficult it is to find a job right now, with the economy so shitty and whatnot. Well, try finding a job when you have absolutely no prior work experience and nothing to put on a resume. It's impossible. Well, that's what I thought.

I was rudely awakened by a phone call just before noon today. I had no idea whose number it was, so I ignored it and went back to Dream Land (creative, huh?). After waking up a couple hours later, I noticed that I had one new voice mail; it was from a manager at a fast food joint asking me if I wanted to come in for an interview.

I kind of feel like this is the type of job a sixteen-year-old kid takes during the summer so that he/she can buy a new stereo, and even though I am not excited about working in a fast food joint, I need to get a job at whatever place will hire me so that I can get some kind of experience and won't look like a total noob on future job applications, so I have an interview tomorrow morning. I have no idea what to expect or what to wear, as most of my clothes wouldn't make too great of a first impression, I'm sure.

I probably won't get the job after talking negatively about it in an online blog, but we'll see. If I do get it, my plans are to save money and then relocate to the New Orleans area.

Now, I'm going to continue watching Dazed and Confused.
